cj - day four

Zzzzzzzzzzzz.

So much trouble staying awake on this day.

The tsunami passed over me and spit me out exhausted. Despite that, some fun stuff.

The morning had sessions about Micmac First Nations culture and lifestyle. It was terrific and informative. From what they would carry on a daily basis to music to some basic words. "Kwe!" (Hello!)

Salami subs for lunch and back at it.

The afternoon was STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics. The Youth learned the science behind cotton candy. They did an experiment called fireworks where food colouring is placed in a pan with a little bit of vegetable oil mixed up and placed in a clear container of water and then the various colours drop through at different rates creating "fireworks". They performed  experiments in light refraction and optical illusions which they were excited about. They made various boats out of tinfoil and plywood, including freighters, and sailed them.

Through the whole day though, I could not stay awake. I guess all the adrenaline wore off from the beginning of the camp.

Thankfully no barn dance tonight. A stroll through the various camps and badge trading. Some chatting and that was it. I actually turned in at about midnight as opposed to 2:00 am the last three nights.

Well, rested up now for a brand new day of adventure. Zzzzzzzzzzzz. blbbl
