I hope everyone who has had a long weekend these past three days has had a great time. We had our first campfire at home of the year. Yes, that is how wet it has been. Plus, with all our stuff blowing up: water heaters, jet pump, our softener system was leaking, the flooding (which we are still working on).
So, in Ontario, we have the Civic Holiday on the first weekend in August that has a Monday, yes our calculations for holidays can be quite complicated. It has different names in some provinces. It is not an "official" holiday in Ontario, but many employers give the day off to their staff, the wife luckily gets the day off paid. in some provinces it is an official holiday with all the bells and whistles, but Ontario kind of sucks for holidays. Oh well.
Anyway, it is winding down now, but I hope it was great for one and all who shared a long weekend in August. blbbl
